Dabangg

is a 2010 Indian action film, directed by Abhinav Kashyap in his directorial debut and produced by Arbaaz Khan under the Arbaaz Khan Productions.^[4] The lead actors in the film include Arbaaz's elder brother, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The film marks the debut of Sonakshi as an actor, Arbaaz as a producer^[5] and Abhinav Kashyap, brother of director Anurag Kashyap, as a director.^[6] It also features Arbaaz Khan, Om Puri, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mahie Gill in supporting roles while Sonu Sood plays the main antagonist.^[7] Malaika Arora appears in an item number.^[8] The theatrical trailer of the film was released on 23 July 2010.^[9] Dabangg was released on Eid, 10 September 2010 across nearly 1,800 screens in India and abroad.

The film broke many records at the box office within the first week of its release. It went on to become the highest opening day grosser^[10] as well as the highest weekend grossing^[11] Bollywood film of all time, breaking the records earlier held by 3 Idiots. The film set another box office record, grossing 80.87 crore (US$17.95 million) in its first week, thus becoming the highest opening week grossing Bollywood film, overtaking the previous record of 3 Idiots.^[12] Box office India declared the film an all-time blockbuster in the second week of its release.^[13] It is currently the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time and the highest-grossing

 Tees Maar Khan 

 is an 2010 Hindi action comedy film directed by Farah Khan, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles and Akshaye Khanna in a cameo.^[4] Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor make special appearances in the film.^[5][6] The film was released on 24 December 2010.^[7] The theatrical trailer and title song of the film were released on UTV Motion Pictures YouTube channel on 4 November 2010 for promotional purposes. The trailer was premiered in theaters with Vipul Shah's Action Replayy and Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 3 on 5 November 2010.^[8] The film is an official remake of the 1966 Italian film After the Fox.^[9]

 Om Shanti Om 

is a 2007 Bollywood musical film directed and choreographed by Farah Khan. It stars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles while Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade, and Kirron Kher feature in supporting roles. More than forty-two well-known Bollywood stars appear in the course of the film, including thirty of them (not including the stars of the film) in one song alone. The film is set in the 1970s and 2000s; it pays tribute to, and pokes fun at, the Indian film industry of both these eras.

Allama Iqbal

Sir Muhammad Iqbal (علامہ محمد اقبال / Allama Muḥammad Iqbāl; November 9, 1877 - April 21, 1938), commonly referred to as Allama Iqbāl (علامہ اقبال‎, ʿAllāma meaning "The Learned One") in Pakistan, was a poet, philosopher and politician in British India.^[1] He wrote his works in Persian and Urdu.
After studying in Cambridge, Munich and Heidelberg, Iqbal established a law practice, but concentrated primarily on writing scholarly works on politics, economics, history, philosophy and religion. He is best known for his poetic works, including Asrar-e-Khudi—for which he was knighted— Rumuz-e-Bekhudi, and the Bang-e-Dara, with its enduring patriotic song Tarana-e-Hind. In India, he is widely regarded for the patriotic song, Saare Jahan Se Achcha. In Afghanistan and Iran, where he is known as Eghbāl-e-Lāhoorī (اقبال لاہوری‎ Iqbal of Lahore), he is highly regarded for his Persian works. Iqbal was a strong proponent of the political and spiritual revival of Islamic civilisation across the world, but specifically in South Asia; a series of famous lectures he delivered to this effect were published as The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam. One of the most prominent leaders of the All India Muslim League, Iqbal encouraged the creation of a "state in northwestern India for Muslims" in his 1930 presidential address.^[2] Iqbal encouraged and worked closely with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and he is known as Muffakir-e-Pakistan ("The Thinker of Pakistan"), Shair-e-Mashriq ("The Poet of the East"), and Hakeem-ul-Ummat ("The Sage of Ummah"). He is officially recognized as the national poet of Pakistan.^[3][4][5] The anniversary of his birth (یوم ولادت محمد اقبال‎ - Yōm-e Welādat-e Muḥammad Iqbāl) is on November 9, and is a national holiday in Pakistan.
Iqbal is said to have conceived the idea of Pakistan as a separate Muslim homeland while meditating at the shrine of the famous Sufi saint Ali Hujwiri in Lahore.^[6]

Baang-e-Dara (1924)
First written in Persian, Bang-i Dara (Caravan Bell) was translated into Urdu by popular demand. It is an anthology of poems written over a period of 20 years and is divided into 3 parts.

Baal-e-Jibraeel (1935)
Baal-e-Jibaeel (Gabriel's Wing) continues from Bang-i Dara. Some of the verses had been written when Iqbal visited Britain, Italy, Egypt, Palestine, France, Spain and Afghanistan. Contains 15 ghazals addressed to God and 61 ghazals and 22 quatrains dealing with the ego, faith, love, knowledge, the intellect and freedom.
Zarb-e-Kaleem (1936)
This, Iqbal's third collection of Urdu poems, has been described as his political manifesto. It was published with the subtitle "A Declaration of War Against the Present Times." Zarb-e-Kaleem (The Blow of Moses' Staff) was meant to rescue Muslims from the ills brought on by modern civilization, just as Moses had rescued the Israelites. English translation

 

Armaghan-i Hijaz (1938)
This work, published a few months after the poet's death, is a fairly small volume containing verses in both Persian and Urdu. The title means "Gift from the Hijaz." He had long wished to undertake the journey to the Arabian Peninsula to perform the Hajj and to visit the tomb of the Prophet, but was prevented from doing so by continuous illness during the last years of his life.

Minar-e-Pakistan

Minar-e-Pakistan is a tall minaret in Iqbal Park Lahore, built in commemoration of the Pakistan Resolution. The minaret reflects a blend of Mughal and modern architecture, and is constructed on the site where on March 23, 1940, seven years before the formation of Pakistan, the Muslim League passed the Pakistan Resolution (Qarardad-e-Pakistan), demanding the creation of Pakistan.^[1] This was the first official declaration to establish a separate homeland for the Muslims living in the South Asia.^[2] Pakistan now celebrates this day as a national holiday each year.

The monument attracts visitors from all over Pakistan, as well as the inhabitants of the Walled City of Lahore. The large public space around the monument is commonly used for political and public meetings, whereas Iqbal Park area is popular among kite-flyers.

Our National Hero

Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Urdu: محمد علی جناح, Gujarati: મુહમ્મદ અલી જિન્ના Audio (help·info)); December 25, 1876 – September 11, 1948) was a 20th century lawyer, politician, statesman and the founder of Pakistan. He is popularly and officially known in Pakistan as Quaid-e-Azam (Urdu: قائد اعظم — "Great Leader") and Baba-e-Qaum (بابائے قوم) ("Father of the Nation").

Jinnah served as leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until Pakistan's independence on August 14, 1947 and Pakistan's first Governor-General from August 15, 1947 until his death on September 11, 1948. Jinnah rose to prominence in the Indian National Congress initially expounding ideas of Hindu-Muslim unity and helping shape the 1916 Lucknow Pact between the Muslim League and the Indian National Congress; he also became a key leader in the All India Home Rule League. He proposed a fourteen-point constitutional reform plan to safeguard the political rights of Muslims in a self-governing India.

Jinnah later advocated the two-nation theory embracing the goal of creating a separate Muslim state as per the Lahore Resolution.^[8] The League won most reserved Muslim seats in the elections of 1946. After the British and Congress backed out of the Cabinet Mission Plan Jinnah called for a Direct Action Day to achieve the formation of Pakistan. The direct action^[9][10] by the Muslim League and its Volunteer Corps, resulted in massive rioting in Calcutta^[10][11] between Muslims and Hindus.^[11][12] As the Indian National Congress and Muslim League failed to reach a power sharing formula for united India, it prompted both the parties and the British to agree to independence of Pakistan and India. As the first Governor-General of Pakistan, Jinnah led efforts to lay the foundations of the new state of Pakistan, frame national policies and rehabilitate millions of Muslim refugees who had migrated from India.

He died in September 1948, just over a year after Pakistan gained independence from the British Empire.

The Burj Al Arab (Arabic: برج العرب‎,Tower of the Arabs) is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At 321 m (1,053 ft), it is the second tallest hotel in the world. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is an iconic structure whose shape mimics the sail of a ship.

Construction of Burj Al Arab began in 1994. It was built to resemble the sail of a dhow, a type of Arabian vessel. Two "wings" spread in a V to form a vast "mast", while the space between them is enclosed in a massive atrium. The architect Tom Wright^[8] said "The client wanted a building that would become an iconic or symbolic statement for Dubai; this is very similar to Sydney with its Opera House, or Paris with the Eiffel Tower. It needed to be a building that would become synonymous with the name of the country."^[9]
The architect and engineering consultant for the project was Atkins. Fletcher Construction from New Zealand was the lead joint venture partner in the initial stages of pre-construction and construction.^[10] The hotel was built by South African construction contractor Murray & Roberts.^[11]

Al Muntaha (Arabic for "Highest" or "Ultimate"), is located 200 m (660 ft) above the Persian Gulf, offering a view of Dubai. It is supported by a full cantilever that extends 27 m (89 ft) from either side of the mast, and is accessed to a panoramic elevator. The main chef there, Edah Semaj Leachim, was awarded Chef of the Year 2006 and also owns the restaurant, in accordance with the Burj Al Arab hotel.^{[citation needed]}
Al Mahara ("Oyster"), which is accessed via a simulated submarine voyage, features a large seawater aquarium, holding roughly 990,000 litres (35,000 cu ft) of water. The tank, made of acrylic glass in order to withstand the water pressure, is about 18 cm (7.1 in) thick.^{[citation needed]}

 

The hotel is officially rated Five-Star Deluxe. However, it is frequently described as "the world's only Seven-Star hotel", although the hotel management claims to never have done that themselves. In the words of a Jumeirah Group spokesperson: "There's not a lot we can do to stop it. We're not encouraging the use of the term. We've never used it in our advertising."^[14] According to the group, the "Seven-Star" notion was brought to being by a British journalist who visited the hotel on a pre-opening press trip. The journalist "described the Burj al Arab in her article as above and beyond anything she had ever seen and called it a seven-star hotel."^[14]

It is located at 27°9'25N 68°19'5E with an altitude of 39 metres (131 feet).

History

Taluka Hala Comprises on one Taluka Municipal Administration Hala and 6 Union Councils with following details Taluka Hala is situated at left bank of Indus river. The population of reconstituted Taluka Hala is 1,61,980 as per census of 2000.
Hala is one of Historical, Literary, Religious Spiritual town of Sindh. This town is also famous through the subcontinent in Art, Pottery, wood work, Cloth printing, Woven cloth called Sussi in various beautiful designs and khaddar made of hand made khaddi. According to Revenue record Hala Town had been given status of Taluka in 1848A.D.
There are three main doors to entry the town of Hala called Naka. Second the center Naka leads to the mausoleum of Hazrat Makhdoom Nooh and also enters on the main shopping street of Hala Town.
There is a mausoleum of Hazrat Makhdoom Nooh ‘Reh’ where people from all over the world visit to pay homage on the Shrine to the pious Saint & visit the Town to purchase Artisan Article and cloth. The population of the Town in more than 50000 souls and the area of the Town is spread over more than six km.
In the vicinity of Hala there is another mausoleum of the world poet Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai at Bhitshah at the distance of 5km from Hala City Bhitshah Town is a sub-office of Taluka Municipal Administration Hala.

Hala Town also provides a standard of good teaching institutions. These instutions not only serve students from Hala vicinity but also students from outside Hala Division. There are number of primary and secondary schools for boys & girls. Two degree collegeS, one for boys and other for girls.
There is also a session court, gymkhana, deputy commissioner's office in the main Hala Town.
